Eden World tour Overheating Thread

  1. Hi,
I have been playing through my Eden World Tour 800 for a few years now and love it but it has one flaw which bugs me and that is it tends to overheat, and go into shutdown mode as a protection, if it is rack mounted.
Has anyone else had this problem?
At the moment I carry it separately in its own aluminium case and place it on top of my FX rack when gigging.
But its just one more thing to carry and would love to take just one rack.
Any ideas and what would be a good option as a replacement that I could rackmount.
    Mark :p
  2. Have you tried turning the cooling fan around so that it blows hot air out of the back? A few years ago Eden changed the fan direction, and it helps with cooling efficiency.

I've never had overheating problems with my WT-500, but it has also never been mounted in a rack.
