Eden WT-400 - true output?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by CaptainWally, Jan 25, 2001.

  1. has anyone measured the true output of
an eden wt-400 at both 1khz and 40hz?

psycho ( i think ), was saying the output
for the ampeg was 280w @ 40 hz, and like 320
    @ 1khz. ampeg is rated @ 450w which apparently
refers to the number of watts the engineers wished
    it put out.

seems the information on my ampeg svt3 pro
leads me to think they fudged the numbers
big time, which doesn't surprise me.

also, anyone have experience running an eden
    400 WT through

    - 2 bag-end s15-d's (1x15's, 8 ohms each)

    - 1 Acme 4ohm low b-2?

the ampeg can't muster the power to drive the
acme. i'm bummed about the ampeg these days
because its 26lbs and wimpy. doh.
