I like the functionality of the Epifani head but the price is steep vs the Eden which is in the same power neighborhood......

Does the Epi handle 2 ohm loads like the Eden. According to a thread on the Eden site the 2 ohm load produces 750 watts...
Will it handle 8 ohm loads?
Does the Epifani come with rack ears?
Does it cost more to have the Jensen added to the Epi or is that a stock item?
I just did a show with the Eden and my Sadowsky and the sound man was very happy with the DI on the Eden

Anybody have a chance to do a side by side comparison....

the Epi doesnt do 2 ohms, doesnt come with rack ears, nor have i yet to see an Epi head with the jensen DI standard.

and i thought the Eden did 640 watts @ 2 ohms?

also, any amp should safely handle 8 ohms.

and bottom line, the Epi head is waay more cleaner and more airy sounding than the Eden which is far woollier, aggressive and kinda furry. which sound would you like?

I am sure I would love the Epi .. but for now the WT 500 works well for me...

On the Eden board a moderator mentioned the 2 ohm / 750 watt settings....

Ooooo, woollier & furry, sounds nice and comfy!

BTW, how much did the Epi hit ya for???
From what I've been reading it seems to be the shizzle.

I saw a new Epi for $1300 and the Eden cost $899.
