I've done alot of searching on talkbass and on the net on this subject, and I'm still confused. Is the Eden WT500 rated at 500 watts at 8 ohms or 600 watts at 8 ohms? I've found listings for both of these ratings...and Eden doesn't have a discontinued product page to check on it...

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Hello.... I'm pretty sure it's 500 watts into 8ohms bridged. At one time, Eden had the 300 and 400 which were mono, and then the 500, 600, and 800 which were stereo. The numbers corresponded to to the wattage at 4ohms for the mono heads, and the wattage bridged at 8ohms for the stereo heads.

I do now that they were offering reasonable upgrades for the 500 and 600 to 800 specs a while ago, but am not sure they are doing that anymore.

There's a dedicated subforum for AMPS, this would be better served there.
