In a situation such as that, who would be at fault? The newspaper, or Mercedes? Does Mercedes pick WHERE exactly the ad goes in the paper? Or do they just pay for space and get plopped wherever?

    That is just wrong.
  12. I had some trouble too... Got it to work after a reboot and several tries.

Um, wow... an unfortunately-timed ad campaign combined with a deadbeat layout editor and there you have it... I'm sure it's unintentional, but that's some cruelly tactless irony.

Just an observation Peter - Perhaps they are, (fortunately), no so well "practiced" as we at dealing with this kind of thing.

They're may still be trying to get a grip on a more appropriate way to handle it. As far as I know, they haven't had such a tragedy since, perhaps, Vietnam.

But, yeah, by our standards, it doesn't look "right."

Hope they badly want Al Qaeda blood now, too.

oh, brother. obviously nobody checks the copy at that paper. in their defense, i imagine this is a pretty shocking and upsetting time for them, and maybe they just missed it.

Front page of an Australian newspaper (forgot the name of it) with a collection of mugshots of Aussies who died in the Bali bombing. Below was an ad for the Mercedes C180 Kompressor, with the punchline "It will blow you away".
