    Hi! I have a compressor and chorus. If i buy a preamp/DI (MXR, Sans Amp), where is the place in my effect chain for it? Before chorus or after it? Compressor, of course, on first place.

    I'd go:

    Bass -> Compressor -> Chorus -> Preamp / DI

    But that's just me :smug:

    If you want your effects - whatever they may be - to go to the PA, the DI needs to be last.

    Why "Compressor on first place, of course"?
    I am using my EBS Multicomp in last position (after Octaver, OD, Synth) before the preamp/DI. So the compressor tames the weird distortion and synth sounds. The soundguy doesn't freak out every time I use brutal sounds. :)
