I bought digitech bp200 (bass processor) yesterday.
of course no I need to find my sound.
earlyer I didn't liked effects but now everything changed.
are there some rules or theory about creating
    different effects.

Nope, just keep twiddling til you get something you like, write it down, and make some more!

there arnt any rules, but there are some tips you can take in consideration

for ex, for setting delay time you can match the bpm of a song (or divide into 2) so the delayed notes are in tempo with what you are playing.

or you can sync it with the oscilation rate of a flanger/phaser.

experiment and learn what isa actually what you are tweaking, so youll now how to tweak it next time

Flea doesn't normally use any effects when he slaps. Don't rely on effects for that, rely on your technique.

for slap i also recommend cmpression, i like to add a LOT, but that is a matter of taste.

    scoop some mids (800 hz - 1khz)

and also new strings help A LOT

    thanks guys.
bp200's "slapin" I think it's very bass (but I dont like my amp)
I think I must get headphone and then I will be able to hear
real sound of mine processor. (sorry guys but I havn't bass combo, get that thing here is very difficult and it's very expencive).
I make my patches with changing factory's but can I
make something from 0. I don't want to change factory preset.
