Effects chain question

I have an HAO Rust Ride and a DOD Flanger.

I have the signal going into the Flanger first, and then the Rust Ride.

The Rust Ride has a direct output, and an effect output.

These go to my Loooper, which has a blend for them, so that I can get distortion without losing my bottom end.

My question is this. With the signal chain set up this way, I don't seem to get much flanger in my signal.

Would the flanger be more intense if I applied it after the distortion?

And if so, how can I hook it up, while utilizing my extra input on the Loooper, to blend a distorted and clean signal?

Distortion goes first, then modulation (flanger).
What kind of Loooper do you own ?

It is a 2 loop model, with an additional input on loop 2, and a blend knob for the two inputs. Pictured below.

Jeff, as JazzAd said the flanger should go after the distortion/od

Unfortunately, the blending on the loooper is hit and miss and doesn't always work as you might want due to different signal impedances.

    David,

The blend works really well the way that I have that loop set up at the moment, but I was wondering how to utilize it if I put the flanger after the distortion.

Personally, I like to be able to add flanger to my distortion so it's after one of my distortions. It just makes more opportunities to make crazy sounds.
