When I put straplocks on my new basses, I'm always sure to make sure they stay in there, by pouring a tad of super glue into the screw holes. A little excess glue leaked out onto the finish, and so now I'm thinking I'd be able to get it off with some Goo Gone I've got. Will the Goo Gone damage the finish?

No, it won't. Just for future reference, when you apply strap lock take a golf tee and drive it down in the hole then put the strap locks in. :) Works like a million bucks.

  3. Goo Gone won't damage the finish and it won't take of CA (superglue) either.

To remove any, you might have to scrape it with a razor blade. If you have a hobby store nearby, they might have some CA solvent that gets used in building flying models.
