Anyone use this pedal? It seems far less expensive than fancier ring modulators. Any flags against it?

    I've never tried it.
As far as ring modulators go, I like this one :

It's cheap and really crazy. It doubles as a decent fuzz/distortion, too.

  3. All ring modulators are good. :D

Yes, in a crush-you-tone-the-band's-and-the-whole-audience's-ears kind of way. :)

    Way too huge... :meh:

The sound is, well.... good, if this word could be employed for Ring mods... :D

Anyway, a ring mod is a really simple circuit. I don't know how they can sell this so much... As the circuit is so simple, I don't think there is huge differents between a ring mod and another.

  6. Have you got any soundclips of that? I'd be interested in hearing what it can do.

    Cheers,

I believe the frequency can't be moved on this thing. That could be annoying.

That's true. It's fixed somewhere around 500. it doesn't matter, noise is noise.

I'm not ok with this. For me, one of the interest of a ring mod is to tune it at a given frequency, to match a tonality for example.

And I like the sound a ring mod does with a high carrier frequency.
