Hi, i'm looking for a pedal that add to my bass a bit of growl/clang but without fuzz/fizz/hiss.
We've got 1 guitar only, so for example when it comes to guitar solos i need to be more phat.
B3K sound is too "hissy" to me.

I think that EHX Bass Soul Food and Joyo British Sound could do the job, but i cannot decide which one would be better.
I know they're quite cheap, but i'd like to buy the right one (otherwise i'd buy an Aftershock which should cover every need).

I use the bsf, due to the blend. It can give me whatever I need, from a touch of clangy grind to a more ampeggy roar with a tweak of a couple of knobs
    zapped777 and sbato like this.
