Looking for some good examples of electric bass playing blues in a duo or trio without drums. Links?

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks

My Pop and I have done the same sort of thing, but we used a Drum Machine. Sorry no clips though.

    :D

Check out the first Hot Tuna record (just called Hot Tuna). There is a bunch of stuff on YouTube with Jorma and Jack as a duo. Here's one for starters:

    I'd like some references, too.

That's definitely a project goal of mine - to do a trio drumless.
I'll be so bold as to say - at least in my area, there's a market for that.

  5. John Mayall's "USA Union" isn't a duo or trio, but it does not have drums. Great album!

The Hot Tuna and John Mayall albums were the first ones I thought of when I saw this thread title, great stuff. When I was first learning bass, everybody played Room To Move at jams.
