Electro-Harmonix Knockout Attack EQ pedal

Asking users for info/opinions on this affordable high/low pass filter. Yes, it's a guitar pedal, but EH states in the product description, this also works for bass. I've read most of the TB posts on the low/high pass topic. Don't have one. Giving this a serious look. It's available at Sweetwater, for $70. Yes, I'm also aware that other similar pass filters are available. Any additional brand recommendations welcomed. Not interested in pass filters over $200.
