Thanks Thom. The talker pedal really does work nice with bass and that was what really got me interested in wanting to use it with bass. A very interesting pedal and the fuzz mode can get really out there if you want it to. Yes it is Thank you and yes a very interesting pedal.
it seems to be a "free-floating pedal", for lack of a better way to put (my english sometimes eludes me, as well as my french). How can this pedal stay attached to a pedal board ?
Yes it is a free floating pedal. This is how it stays on a pedal board. http://www.ehx.com/products/cradle
Thx. I'm always looking to have 1 pedal on my board that I have absolutely no use for, other than experimenting. At the moment, I'm rediscovering the Boss AW-3 (similar feature), but the EHX pedal could be the next one...
Great playing and an interesting sounding pedal!!! I can get this sound using multiple pedals, but it's cool to have in in one unit as well. Especially, since it sounds good on bass. I don't know how I feel about needing a cradle to mount it to a pedalboard. If the point is to have an all in one solution, then you don't need a board anyway, though. I'll probably pick one up eventually, just for fun.
Thanks. The pedal is interesting for a lot of reasons but it's kool that you don't have to use multiple pedals to achieve the same or a similar sound. Here's Bootsy with his Talker pedal.
Jauqo, do you have a y experience with the original Talking Pedal? Just wondering how it stacks up against it?
Kind of gimmicky but definitely brutal. I like how it's sounding in the Bootsy vid stacked with other effects.
Gimmicky is all a matter or perspective. As with all effects, it's a matter of practical application to the individual. Hell, why do I need 6 or 7 different dirt boxes? Because I do.
I would be all over this if I had a third foot or if there was an expression out. Controlling a filter sweep and fading in the formant sound would be epic.
