    What's up guys?

I can't decide between an elektron analog heat and a markbass amp head. Yes, I know they are not the same thing but they are both 'tweaking units' designed to give me a fat sound!

If you have used any please give me your recommendations. This is for a synth bass as opposed to a standard bass!
  2. One of these is a multi effect, the other is amp. Apples and oranges for different uses.

true, but thet can both affect the sound significantly. and both have frequencies filters.
  4. Not sure how anyone can vote or offer advice /opinions as you haven't said which of the multitude of Markbass heads you are considering?
  5. But one cant be used with a cab to play, one can.

This is like asking if you should buy seat covers for your hyundai, or a jetta.
