    The best strings for bass are elixir strings. They're a bit pricey but they are definitely the best. They have a polyweb coating which will make them last for years and years. Seriously, you should all get the elixir strings. They have the nicest sound and excellent quality. :bassist:

    Polyweb, I THOUGHT that that was only for the guitar strings... Hm... lolz... ... lolz.
    I think that the bass strings are with the Nanoweb coating.
    But yeah, ElixIr's kick ass man!

    Do you really think there's one single brand of strings that is actually "the best"? It's a matter of taste. Yeah, Elixirs are great because they stay "fresh" longer, but they are not for everyone.

    I think that's what he meant TBass. He probably thinks their the best, because he likes them so much... Oh and they DO kick some major string ass :D
