EMG Btc Control

Discussion in 'Pickups & Electronics [BG]' started by Davidoc, Apr 20, 2001.

  1. What is this exactly?

Is it a phantom-powered Tone pot?

    An active tone pot?

    What voltage?

    A whole electronics system?

    Did I miss something?

Does anyone have experience with this?

The BTC is a 12bd cut & boost pre amp. It can be used w/passive pickup's as well as EMG. If you buy the BTC system, it can be used only w/EMG's. I have it in a Spector NS-5 CR & a G&L L-5500 both w/EMG 40 DC's. It's a very great sounding, versatile preamp.

  3. Thanks for the help Nino!

Do you know if it come with the battery connections?

Does it run with 9V or 18V?

I don't remember if it comes with a battery clip. You can run if off either 9 or 18 volt.
