EMG passive pickups

    My bass is P/J pups. What pickup has very heavy bottom and lows..maybe passive electronics.. I was thinking emg might be that way but.. I see that there are also a lot of pickup companies.. I dont know deep about bass sounds and lots of good stuff so can someone recommend me of a pickup that is real bassy its alright for high sounds since I dont like classic feels,.,.(50's..etc) thanks..

    emg make good p/j pickups, I probably wouldn't describe them as real bassy though.

    Without any criteria to consider other than 'real bassy' it's hard to make accurate recommendations. Bartolini, Nordstrand all make p/j sets that might fit what you're looking for:
