I don't know much about pickups and electronics in general and so have a question regarding EMG select p-bass p'ups.

when they only come in ones which one controls the treb and which controls the bass. Also, is there any order to place them in the 2 spaces?

    thanks
sorry for the noob question :help:

I dunno that it makes a difference which goes where as I've never seen left handed pickups (not that they aren't made, I've never seen them or the option for them).

With a P Bass Pickup, the half with the long wires leading to the controls goes on the bottom. If you put it in backwards, then the wires will be farther from the control area.

I tried both ways because I was curious to see if there was a difference and IMO the sound is the same.

As Thinkarogadum said, you may run in wires becoming too short...
