  2. This driver isn't much suited for a sealed box.

In SBB4 vented, it is good for 160w input before it exceeds Xmax. It is all done above 2,000 Hz and will need a smaller speaker or tweeter.

All in all, a general purpose 15" bass driver for 3.5 to 3.75 cubic feet.

Still, it doesn;t get low enough for bass guitar? 50Hz rolloff...

  4. Actually the CB15 is a splendid 15" driver for both 4 and 5 string basses.

All bass drivers roll off, and this one properly enclosed, rolls off a damn site lower than the Eden XLT that everybody seems to worship.

Most commercial cabs have a big hump in the mid-bass (80 ~ 120) that fools most folks into thinking it has a huge bottom, when it does not. These cabs have a steep rolloff below the hump, and are gutless wonders in the bottom octave.

If you enclose the CB15 is 3.75 cubic feet at 34 Hz, it will be fast, tight, and not have the hump. There is an audible difference between this and a commercial hump-cab. Whether you like it or not is subjective.
