    I have old EMINENCE EM 12-1008 PE ,8 ohm speaker for home made cabinet.
    How big(inch)it is and how strong it is ( ???W) ?
    Can i make cabinet for combo with it ?

    Only Eminence would know for sure (email them from their website), but I'd guess it's :

    Paper Edge (not cloth accordian surround)

    Probably a lead guitar spoeaker and not very good for bass.

    Look on the side of the magnet or elsewhere for a silver label. You're looking for a number where the first two digits are the same as the diameter of the outside of the frame in inches.

    That number is called the Spec No. and you can obtain the Thiele-Small parameters by writing to Eminence at info@eminence.com and asking (nicely) for the T-S parameters. They usually respond within a day or so.

    As long as you provide the spec number, Eminence will gladly give you the T-S parameters...even for OEM designs (i.e. the speakers used in commercially available speaker cabinets).
