    Hi Lynn!

I just discovered this thread and really enjoying reading through your discussions. HUGE fan of your playing!

We all know how expensive it can be to maintain your gear, ensure you have all the tools needed for any situation etc. It adds up so fast!

A few years ago I reached out to the kind folks at Euphonics Audio and was able to arrange an endorsement deal, getting the artist price for their iAmp Doubler II and the Wizzy 110 (thanks to their awesome team: Larry, John C, John D, Daniel, and Gary!)

I have a fairly extensive resume and a VERY diverse portfolio of gigs, festivals, teaching positions, recordings, publicity (two 4-star reviews in Downbeat w/ JD Allen, NY Times mentions etc). I play in a variety of contexts: modern/trad jazz, country/bluegrass, Turkish folk music, RnB/hip hop, and Indie rock.

I would really love to go about nailing down some other endorsements for things like strings, amps, rosin, cables, cases etc.

I was considering hiring some kind of agent or PR person to do my bidding, but not sure if that’s at all commonplace or would have any success.

Would love to hear about your experiences, tips or contact leads, good places to start or any relevant advice etc. Feel free to respond on this thread or send me a private message.

Congratulations on your endorsement with Euphonics. I have been very fortunate to get endorsements, but they all happened relatively late in my performance career. For the most part, they happened from using an instrument, amp, or product for an International Society of Bassists performance, liking it, and then the people involved offering very generously to sign me on. That is my story...

Thanks for your quick reply! I still have yet to make it out to an ISB conference — hopefully will be able to do that sometime soon.
