  1. For those of you who haven't heard, there is a new form of English forming and I suggest we all convert over to it as quickly as possible.

Very funny. English 2 is already in common usage almost everywhere, especially in Internet chat rooms and on message baords.

  4. Perhaps my sense of humour is broken, but I didn't find it all that amusing. Actually, I didn't find it funny at all.

Oh yes, further degeneration of a beautiful language being bashed and beaten by dumb teenagers on chat rooms around the world, that's all we need. :rollno:

Dumb, lame, stupid and boring article. I clicked on this thread hoping it was going to be a discussion about the decay of the English language. I was wrong.

Edit: The above post is too harsh, and I posted it in a moment of haste. Keith is right, it's a joke. It's not very funny though.

  17. *cough* It's a joke people. *cough*

All this coming from a man who cannot spell, construct sentences, who reverts quickly to colloquialism and cannot use commas. You are a service to English Language, I salute you Scott Zoltok!

Since everyone's weighing in I guess I could have laughed if it weren't apparently already coming true.
While I don't think the writer was serious it still highlights a growing problem, at least in my perspective.

Anyway, I found it a little bit funny and more than a bit annoying; a sign of the times...
