I use a Fender Bassman 60 for practice and a Carvin R400 for performances. I love the "enhancer" setting on the Fender and would like to know how to simulate that on the Carvin. Any tips?

Without an "enhance" circuit on the Carvin, you're pretty much out of luck. The closest you can get is to scoop the mids and boost the bass and treble a bit.

Most enhancers work differently and uniquely. Some of the rack mount units like the Aphex units work by placing a small frequency range out of phase. The most simplest simply scoop a frequency of the midrange.
