We all know your bass is only as good as the strap it hangs on, right? Show your straps and tell us about 'em.

Mine's a 3 1/2" Levy's Padded leather strap, set on it's shortest setting using both holes provided (yes, three Schaller straplocks... I use the black ones - farthest apart for rocking out and I use the chrome one thats farther in for what my girlfriend calls "that virtuoso **** you like to do)

I've got a Nady VHFBass transmitter wedged in there, almost never comes out. I cut the lead short so it doesn't sag down too much, can hardly tell it's there.

Overall, the setup has to way about a pound and a half or two pounds but is very comfy.

I use Levy's PM32 (same as yours) and the Levy's MSS13. Both in black. Awesome straps!

A couple of Comfort Strapp users I see. When I went looking for a good expensive strap, it had to be wide, padded, and had to slide on the shirt. I pull my headstock nice and high when soloing, do a lot of stringbending so it was a must. The Levy's worked out in the end!

    Fender Deluxe Leather Tweed Strap

my girl got me this for my b'day.

I've got a standard brown Levy nylon weave I use a lot and a 2.5" black leather I bought in 82-83 is holding my fretted 5 to me as I type. I bought 4 straps from the "box o'vintage" in classifieds that shipped today! oh yeah... I've got a Planet Waves super wide thing as a gift from D'addario that I've yet to use... I hate wide straps.

How heavy are your basses? My eight pound Yammie resides on a 2" nylon Ernie Ball, but my eleven pound boat anchor of a Fender is on that beauty of a Levy's up there.

And come on people, 11 posts and no actual photographs. I was sooo looking forward to watching you people photograph the most insignificant part of your setups ;)

Being a longtime Levy's user...I took the plunge recently and got a super wide (4 inch maybe) Moody brand strap.....this is the most comfortable strap I have used to date. Pricey...but totally worth it.

pretty heavy. Never swayed me to a wide strap. They just rub my neck, hold the heat, restrict my movement, etc etc etc.

I might bite the bullet when/if the TB Moody 4" hits the market.

Time to start biting James...the 4" one is the one I got..I love it.

    Moody Leather

It was however, a pain in the rear to get the Schaller straplocks on the thing. It's pretty thick.
