Does anyone know the names of some cheaper, entry level 5&6 string fretless basses? As in $400-500 dollars or less? Selection seems pretty limited, I'm wondering whats out there. thanks

I just picked up a used Peavey Fury V.
I don't know if they are all STB but mine is & the B is fine (tight)!
    The electronics/pups are very good.
Balance is good from string to string.
Overall I think it is a very sweet bass based on my limited exposure...maybe I just got a beauty!

    They retail for 599.99
should be able to by for 30/40% off of that
    I think!

    Good luck with your search.
IF you can check one out.
It may work well for you too!

You should be able to find an MTD Kingston fretless five in your $$ballpark. Give Gard a call at Bass Central and see what he can do for you.
  4. Do a search on the MTD Kingston fretless, you'll find people comparing it to basses costing $2000. I have one and it is by far the best fretless for the money I have ever played.
