    anyone know if the strings on jonh entwistle's buzzard are availiable to the public, i'm talking about the gold plated ones, and if so by what manufacturer?

    Yes, he uses Maxima Gold strings and these should be available at all the online string sites. Be prepared to pay alot!

    i went to their website and showed it to my dad and he really liked them, that and the fact that he's a huge who fan and decided to buy me a set for my new peavey six string so they should be here in 2 days and i will give a full review and finally post some picks of the peavey with some new gold on it.

    Apparently, on tour the Ox changes his strings after every show - a shocking waste, I'm sure you'll agree. Do you reckon that if I write and ask politely enough, he might send me a few of his old sets? :p
