Great cabinet! just not getting use as I am holding onto my old Epifani T212 and trying out some EBS cabinets right now.

The EBS cabs and the Epifani cabs are pretty different. I would say the Epifani cabs have a musical sound to them and the EBS have a wide and more aggressive sound to them. The horns are very different, the epifani horn is a soft more integrated sound and the EBS is a very distinct metallic punch that is separate from the drivers.

Both great, but both different.

 

I found a review online saying it was 59 lbs.

I will try to confirm this when I get home this afternoon.

Hello Jim, this is an 8 ohm cabinet so you would use the 8 ohm output. If you decided to use two cabinets that were both 8 ohms each then that would create a 4 ohm load and you would use the 4 ohm output.

Epifani makes a 310 that is tricky at 5.3 ohms. In that case you would use the 4 ohm output to get the most power into the 5.3 ohms.
