Hi, for sale is a 1950's Epiphone B-3 ¾ acoustic bass. I've owned it and used it for gigs since the late 1990's, it's a great little plywood bass.

It's got the normal wear and tear, but no structural problems, and no major repairs. There is an old crack in the heel (see pics), it's been there since before I bought it. I also have the original, non-adjustable bridge; it's stamped with the same S/N.

I'm including an appraisal letter from Gruhn Guitars and a few pictures.

Feel free to PM me if you would like to discuss.

    Thanks,
    Lamont Goff

Can you share a photo of the heel repair?

    Hi Steven,

I'm attaching two pics; one with and one without flash. As I think you can see, the crack is in the back piece of the bass, but it doesn't travel into the actual neck of the instrument.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Lamont

Good to clarify that. Compared to a heel crack, this is nothing.
