    hey all!
I just want to say how much I love my epiphone bass.
it's a Power Bass II model.
It's a cheap, no frills bass, that most bass players, including myself at one time, would say "that's not a bass! that's the biggest piece of crap I ever saw!"
    But, it's not!
It's such a cool bass. the p bass style pickup and jazz pickup at the bridge make it sound like a fender p-bass special. I mean, the pickups aren't the most mindshattering things in the world, but they work well.
Plus they are built like tanks. I also own an Epiphone Accubass, and that one is just as good.
I do still love my american fender jazz bass. nothing can top it in my opinion. but, for a cheap piece of crap bass, the epiphone rocks.
    love,

I own a power bass too. I respect it a lot for such a low priced bass. Really good deal ($150 new). Though, I am thinking of replacing the pickups to make it badass.

It was my first bass, and I have grown attatched to it as my ability to play it increases every day.

Is it rare? Possibly any market value?

I just looked at the Epiphone site and couldn't see a Power Bass II model listed there. Any pics? It sounds interesting.
