How does the Epi EB-0 neck compare to a jazz basses neck? As far as width, and thickness of it? I realize the EB-0 is a short scale, so no need to state that difference.

A neck that's any thinner than a J bass is :spit:, to me.

Oh also the neck strap button bolt, is bigger than the other bolts in the neck? I would want to use this bass as a lefty. A symmetrical design would be friendly for a lefty flip...

I have an EB-0 and a Fender Jazz 60s classic. The EB-0's neck is noticeably narrower and thinner than the Jazz's neck. Take that with a grain of salt, because it's possible that this model of Jazz bass has a thicker neck than standard jazzes.

I convert 4 string Rickenbackers to 5 string basses.
The ebo neck is a lot like the hofner neck. Short and skinny.

Got mine sittin' right here in a stand. Threw a tape on it, 1 1/2 just like J bass. Very comfy neck IMO.
