Epiphone Elites

    I was wondering if anyone has tried the new Epiphone Elite basses, well specifically the EB-3 and the Thunderbird. Their Elite version EB-3 has better hardware and components and better made than their Korean counterpart and also has the proper scale length of 30" (unlike the non-Elite's 34"). The Elite Thunderbird is also made more closely to the original Gibson, with a mahogany neck-thru design and mahogany wings attached. These Elite models seem to be mad very well and considering the price ($800-1000), they seem very attractive, at least to me.

    If anyone has seen/played any of these Elites, any comments/opinions would be great.

    Also, I know its not the right place, but if you've seen the Elite Les Pauls, SGs, or archtops, I wouldnt mind any experience and info 'bout those either :D
