Well, I played one a long time ago, really liked the sound, but it was before I was really capable of judging quality. At the time my only real complaint is that you really can't play it sitting down, but it felt good and sounded good too.
  3. ^^^^really

i played one about a year ago, and as far as i remember, it was not very versatile at all. it had a good rockish sound when played with a pick, but for finger style, slapping, tapping, and pretty much everything else, it was fairly poor. but thats just my opinion

but do you both feel that it has a good rock tone? that's what i'm looking for in this bass. my fender MIA Jazz bass is very versitile, so i have that covered.
  5. the tone wasn't bad but i did not like the 30" scale has anyone ever seen one that is 34"?
