Really great bass with fantastic sounds!

    Modifications-
Has the new pickup installed, Curtis Novak EB-AA FATBUCKER, which sounds very nice.

The Choke, "tone suck switch" has been changed out to a very simple capacitor, that alters the tone only slightly, giving you two very usable sounds, one is just a tad bit beefier than the other. Very useful in my experience!

Has the Gibson/Epiphone tone bar mod at the butt of the bridge, adding a bit of mass to the 3-point bridge helping with tone and sustain.

    Condition-

Aesthetically, Very well taken care of, and the finish has a great patina of an older instrument. As you can hopefully tell from the photos.
there is one ding along the binding, along the lower side...kinda ugly, bit it never bothered me,
The finish has sunken a bit around the joint where there neck meets the body, again Ive tried to show this in the photos. The tech here in chicago that I've had work on the bass said the neck joint is still completely solid and the sinking/crack is only cosmetic!

    Tone/Playablitly

Plays like a dream short scale and very easy to articulate what you want on this one. Frets are perfect and have very little to no wear, as far as I can tell. No grooves worn away or buzzing, even with action set quite low. Truss works fine, and can accommodate a number of different setup preferences! Its currently sporting relatively fresh GHS precision flat wounds.
Doesn't really sound like the old Gibson mudbucker of yesteryear, more of a hi-fi take on that vibe, thanks to the NOVAK PU.
If I can find the time, ill try and record an audio sample of what this monster can do!

I'm looking for $750 shipped to the lower 48 states, which is a deal I think, including the hard case and upgrades/mods that have gone into this bass!
