Hi all, i have an Epiphone Thunderbird 4 bass (pretty darn standard) and i love the thing, but i want an Opti-grab handle to put on it.

E-mailed Gibson and alas, they don't sell the part as a replacement or a spare, so, i've taken the option to fabricate one myself, got a universal metal mounting strip from work (auto parts distributor) and have made some measurements.

Will be attempting to cut and bend the metal in to shape at work tomorrow and if all goes well, should anyone want one i could knock a few out for cheap for any others wanting the same.

    Wish me luck :D
