    Hi,

I'm looking for a new 5 string. I have a Gibson T-Bird, which I love, but my main gig requires a 5. I am looking at the Epi Thunderbird Pro-V. Looks like a pretty decent bass for around $500. Anyone have any experience with these? How is the balance?

I have the 4 string Epiphone T-Bird Pro and I love it.. My hand is usually always on the neck but it will dive however I have found a way to use my strap over one of the wings opposite the knobs and it keeps the Bird in place just fine, with out getting in the way of movement or playing..
