Looking for a good website refference of EQ, Perhaps somewhere on the web(or from somone's experience). Like how 2khz will affect your tone. I've always just played around with EQ but now am looking for my ideal settings.

I am trying to go for the boosted low-midrange settings...

Try these for staters, i picked it them up in Computer Music Magazine, so some of it applies to direct recording as well as live usage.

50-100hz boominess / sub bass (careful not to clash with kick drum)
    100-250hz character
250-800hz muddiness, can help with clarity, reduce to tighten
    800-1khz beef to small speakers
    1-6khz presence, add edge
    6-8khz high-end presence
    8-12hkz hiss
boost at 60-80hz for extra body.
roll off above 1khz for amp sim, also helps make sound cleaner and tighter.
Use after comp for clean sound, before comp for mellow sound.
boost 3-6khz for 'plucky finger' sound.
To boost the bass, try a narrow Q somewhere from the low mids right down to 200Hz
