What settings do you have for your playin finger or slap or tapping?
Typical smile EQ.
Pretty much entirely flat, on the bass, and the amp.
i just switched from happy face to a sad face...
i bet EMO bands use sad faces, hahah.
Which is exactly my motivation for the opposite of Emo.
haha love that comment!
Smiley face EQ.
The Sound Engineers nightmare, or so I'm told.
I'm not a tapper
For slap I eq the following;
on parametric EQ, I do a deep-Q scoop at 1.1khz
on graphic EQ or shallow Q paratric , I adjust the 2.4khz range. You want it high enough to cut through but not too much of a boost that it's annoying.
Large amounts of them, I just put both pickups on for slap, not the best slap tone but it works well enough because I dont slap in songs that often. For finger style and tapping mountains of mids with lows and highs boosted slightly. Heh.. I've been playing metal to much...
