I have one I got from Scott's Bass Lessons when I was a member. It's a great strap, well made and really helps support the weight of my heavy P-bass.

They are Chilean made If I'm not mistaken. They have several models, with different widths, and even make cymball and guitar/bass soft cases (or were designing them at least). Physically speaking, a thick and padded strap will distribute the weight in a broader area and be very comfortable. And South American leather is top notch...
I've been wanting one for a while

I have these on two of my basses. They are quite simply amazing. Super comfy, beautiful materials and workmanship. Just the right amount of padding. I do weekly 3.5 hr sessions with my 9 1/2 lb BTB and really don’t feel it at all.

They look nice, kind of like similar straps by Levy's.

Really nice guys, they do a fair amount of custom OEM work for luthiers. This one is from a batch that Marco Bass had at Winter NAMM this year. I actually have ended up mostly using it on my other Marco Bass though, which is a lot heavier than this one. The padding is a bit thinner than my Levy's one, which works better for me for my other bass, oddly enough. In any case, I really like it.

Great product. But try buying from a US distributor. Dealing directly with them is a nightmare

I have a couple of Ergo straps and like them. I've ordered from them directly and always had great service. There's a time zone difference so communication isn't immediate and shipping takes a bit from Chile, but I've never had any issues.

I had a very pleasant experience with RiverStraps. Fantastic high quality custom straps, very reasonable price. I am going to order another!

Those are actually high quality straps, you can aske for customisation but unfortunately, I have to agree with Warwick Thunder: they're a nightmare to deal with. I've been waiting for my strap for 4 months now, every week they promise they will send it but they don't, no explanation... So i've been really bored and discovered another nice brand, the Brazilian Evo Strap. They also do customisation and Eric is adorable and very professional. 16. I ordered a strap from their website in August. Other than an email saying my order was “processing,” I never heard from them. A few weeks ago, I started trying to get in touch with them via every single email address they have listed on their website, plus messaging them on Facebook and Instagram. No response whatsoever. Today, I opened up a PayPal dispute over the charges, and they IMMEDIATELY (literally the same minute) changed my order status to “cancelled.” So it’s not even that they’re not checking their email, they just can’t be bothered to communicate with a customer. ‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️ Incredibly frustrating. I don’t mind waiting, especially for a cool looking, comfy strap- I just can’t believe how hard they failed to communicate. Ugh. Guess now I know, order from a dealer, don’t order direct.

I’ve been having very similar issues with Ergo Straps. I ordered a custom strap from them back in January-February 2021. I was quoted 2 weeks. Here we are around ~8 months later, still no strap…

The communication (or lack thereof) has been incredibly frustrating. When I first placed the order and about a month went by I attempted to reach out via email. I had to send several emails over multiple weeks to get a response. I was then told they were in lockdown and unable to make straps. Fair enough, understandable, but proactive communication when an order is delayed would be nice.

Little did I know this would go on for months. I was first told they were back to working normally in late May, and that I should expect to see my strap ship within the next week.

Well, that didn’t happen. No word from them for another month despite a couple of email attempts. When I finally got ahold of them in late June I was told again that my order would ship within the next week and that I’d see the tracking number.

Well, that didn’t happen… again. I think I had to follow up with them 5 more times until I finally got another response in early August. I was told again that they were trying to ship all the delayed orders that week.

I haven’t heard from them since early August despite multiple attempts through multiple channels. Incredibly frustrating experience all around. I hope I eventually get the strap, but the whole thing is ridiculous and leaving a pretty bad taste in my mouth. Just not the right way to do business or communicate with customers.

Go with Evo Straps instead if you’re looking for top notch Leather straps. Evo are based in Brazil and the customer service is amazing.

It is unlikely you will see your ordered straps, even the dealers are having an extremely rough time with them.

Hello! How are you people? I just wanted to aks if the straps you guys ordered were delivered? I had a horrible experience also, I am just beginning with a music store and make the mistake of contacting ErgoStraps to become a dealer. I sent the payment for ordered and like a month after received a message from them telling me that my order was done and that they expected to ship soon. Something like two and a half later still no shipping, I ask them and they said they were going to ship my straps a couple of days later (this was beginning of December 2021) but never got any tracking number. Since then they would not answer my messages, calls, emails, only got a response on Instagram by am employee who told me he/she would ask for my shipment status. Now they wouldn’t even answer to me on Instagram anymore. I have been very patient but this absolute lack of respect and communication is just insane and I am beyond frustrated. I just wanted to know if the people waiting before me received their straps to see if there might be some hope for me... thank you!
