Ergodynes: What necks???

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by indie-visible, Oct 18, 2000.

  1. And once again about Ibanez Ergodynez ;)
It's very interesting to know what necks Ergodynes have ever had. I know the current specification is 3-pcs maple, except that EDB690 has 5 pcs maple. But it seems there have been quite a few modifications so there might be other types of necks. At least I find some specifications on the net that tell 1 pc maple. And some reviewers, including those who reported dead spots, say it was luthite, just as bodies!!! That may be mistakes, of course, but if that's not, then this might explain why many reviewers report dead spots, while others say "the tone is even all the way up the neck"...
Please anybody who knows what type of neck Ergodynes formerly had, or who knows about ones with luthite necks, impart.
