Ernie Ball 45-100 Super Slinky's

  1. Does anyone else use 45-100 Super Slinky's and find that their "tone/pop" dissapear quickly, after hardly any play????

    I use Hybrid Slinkys 45-105 and yes I do notice that. I dont mind because I dont like to spend more than 16 dollars on bass strings and I dont mind the sound they get when the brightness wears off. Its actually kinda nice when you get used to it...
     
  3. Well, you get what you pay for. Slinkys are junk. Try a set of Dean Markley SR2000 lights. They'll coast you half again as much, but they'll last three times longer. Your family and band members will thank you for it.
