  1. Wow, I tried this puppy out at Guitar Center and let me tell you, it has the SWEETest tone I've ever heard come from a tube/solid state bass amp. Anyone else tried it? Post thoughts here...:D

  2. Did you get the set of strings for ten bucks?

It sounded pretty good to me, but it really was not the sound I was going for at the time. They look funny!:D

    Made in Italy. Bizarre.

  5. Actually I like the look of the EB Audiophile. Do they still make them? Bass Central are discounting them left and right.

    Why?
Is it really bizarre when an amp is not made in the US, UK, Germany, Sweden or *cough* Korea?

During the 1960's, Italy was the equivalent of what Japan or Korea later became: the leading low-cost producer of guitars. Anybody remember brands like Eko?

  9. Their grill looks goofy to me.

Sounds best with the matching amp. Not so good with a SWR or Eden amp.

Excuse me, but doesn't it seem pretentious to have the word "Audiophile" printed on the front in large letters?

i.e., I've got my Audiophile Bass with my
Audiophile Amp and Audiophile Speakers to get my
Audiophile Sound because I'm an Audiophile.
