Just bought another EB volume pedal (the former, older EB I had was stolen a while ago and I really missed it). After reading a few oppinions on TB and elsewhere,I decided to buy a 25K version of the EB Jr. because,as stated,"the 25k is intended for use with an active guitar/bass" and all my axes are active. Now,my question is:why the pot has PRECISELY 25 KOhms? Could have,say,50 KOhms? Is there a practical reason for this value? If yes, based on what? Thanks for your replies! Regards, Le Basseur
It could have been 50k, yep. Or even 51... Why 25k ? Probably because they had to make a choice. I personnaly put a 10k for active basses, but well...
