Fellow TBers, I am letting one of my favorite basses go! Bass is in excellent/like new condition and is everything you would ever want a Stingray to be. It has the slimmer neck profile and is a breeze to play and the hand feel on that roasted maple is insane! It was purchased from the Ernie Ball Vault (limited run of 5 SLO's) in January 2019. I dont think you could find a more attractive EBMM bass. Comes with original hardshell case. Specs from Ernie Ball: Instrument Size 13-1/2" wide, 1-5/8" thick, 44-7/8" long (34.3 cm wide, 4.1 cm thick, 114.0 cm long) Body Color Black Body Wood Select hard wood Body Finish High gloss polyester Neck Wood Roasted maple Neck Finish Gunstock oil and hand-rubbed special wax blend Neck Radius 11" (27.9 cm) Neck Width 1-1/2" (38.1 mm) at nut, 2-1/2" (63.5 mm) at last fret Neck Attachment 5 bolts - perfect alignment with no shifting; Sculpted neck joint allows smooth access to higher frets Scale Length 34" (86.4 cm) Fingerboard Rosewood Frets 22 - High profile, wide, Stainless Steel Pickguard Black Hardware Chrome Tuning Machines Custom Music Man, lightweight with tapered string posts and ergonomic clover design Truss Rod Adjustable - no component or string removal Controls 3-band active preamp with 18 volts of headroom; vol, treble, mid, bass Pickups Single Humbucking with Neodymium magnets Weight:8lbs 3oz $1850 Shipped CONUS via UPS ($1750 cash or Venmo for local sale) Very few trade interests right now (plus or minus cash): Dunable bass, pre 1993 Warwick (Thumb, Streamer, Dolphin), Spector Helium, Dingwall Super J, Moore Bass, Mayones Viking, Chapman MLB1 Dave Hollandsworth, or maybe a Mike Lull jazz bass. Cheers!
Nice looking bass! I’m curious—this looks like a SLO special with all “Stingray Special” appointments otherwise (roasted neck, 18v pre, etc.), which I didn’t realize EBMM was even offering. Was this one ordered direct from EBMM or something? Very cool.
