I bought this bass about 2 years ago, from Guitar Center. It came with a preamp that wasn't working correctly, and I talked to Ernie Ball and got a new one. It now works 100%. When I talked to Ernie Ball, they told me what year it was, but I don't remember exactly, I'm pretty sure it was either 2006, or 2007. So its a 11-12 year old bass, with a 2 year old preamp.

Its got a couple dings on the body around the edges, which I have photographed. Playability and tone are excellent. This was my #1 bass for the past 2 years, but has been living in the case since I got my Hammersmith C4. Its too nice for me to leave in the trailer and just be a backup, so I'd like to pass it on to someone else, and get something interesting. Comes with OHSC.

A straight up sale would be used to buy a JMJ Mustang, so a trade for that would be 100% acceptable. PJ Mustangs, maybe, it would probably have to be orange or surf green. A CIJ mustang would be acceptable, even though they only come in white. One of the Japan only mustangs in a cool color with the competition stripe would be sweet.

I've been thinking about trying a 5 string, but I'm not a 5 string player, so I'd be looking at something cheaper than this. Squier P5 would be cool, one of those deluxe active squier jazz basses maybe.

Non Mustang, non cheap 5 strings considered. Nothing sunburst, or natural; black or white will be frowned upon.
