Alright, it's a classic rock song I'm guessing because I heard it on a classic rock station. I believe it's called "Rock On" It has a strange intro... it's a pretty weird song all together, I think it's called Rock on... hmmm, it ends with the guy goin' "Rock On" so... :meh:

Cool, I know nothing about him.

I was in a band that was doing the song as one of about 5 covers mixed into originals for about 6 months when the 80's/90's version hit the charts. We were pissed someone stole our obscure tune and removed it from our list.

Michael Damien recorded a version of Essex's song and sang it in the 1991 movie "Dream a Little Dream" starring Corey Feldman. In fact, Damien's version is the only one I have ever heard. I haven't heard the original.

Beaten absolutely to DEATH. The original anyway. I kept waiting for the "rock" part of the song but, it never showed up.

    But that's just me.
