ESP B-4E or ESP F-404?

I’ve been looking into getting my first bass guitar and the two I’ve been interested in (since the F-414 is discontinued and I can’t find one anywhere) is the B-4E and the F-404, both for around the same price. The style I’m going for is metal.

The main difference I noticed is the pickups with the B-4E having ESP SB-4s and the F-404 having EMG 35-DC. I’ve heard that EMGs are good pickups but if anyone has any experience with these basses and which might be a better choice I’d really appreciate it.
