I own an ESP F-205 and am making enquiries about a B305FM. The F series shape isn't to everyone's taste, but it's a very well made bass with good pickups, solid components and a very good sound. I used to own a pair of Ibanez Ergodynes, which were nice to play, but didn't come close to the ESP in terms of natural sound. The B305FM looks really nice.
I own a b-305 that I am actually going to sell. I would say that it worths the price it costs, that means it's so and so. I would say that the prons are a very good playbility from 12th to 24th fret, and very good natural harmonics. The cons are a terribly floppy B string and a sound that is not "powerful" when you play live, and that's a problem as I would say tahat this bass has a tone that suites especially hard-rock/metal. That's only my opinion, anyway. Ciao, Luca
