This is a great deal on a really good bass. I have this exact bass and would describe it as easily a step above an American Fender. Great quality fretwork, nice B string. Love the battery box too!
I have the newer E-II version of this bass and it is an amazing instrument. At used prices, it can't be beat. GLWTS!
Now with upgraded Aguilar OBP3 preamp! This bass is now a few levels better and I really like it but my “regular” car maintenance this weekend is costing more than expected and I could use the money.
Putting this one back up. I use this for my alt rock band and that really does not need a 5-string since we play in drop-D. I prefer to sell but would consider certain 4 strings as trade. Fender Blacktop Precision Fender Modern Player Jazz Fender FSR Jazz (the natural ash with rosewood board model) Fender Deluxe J or P in that seafoam or surf pearl finish Fender Jaguar (the red CIJ would be a dream) ESP E-II AP4 ESP LTD AP4 (the new blue one) Schecter Model T (Session would be awesome) Schecter Diamond P G&L (US model) Somewhere along these lines.
A couple of different folks asked me to confirm the scale length since there may not be a definitive source online, so I took pics.
