Essex BG-105 Bass/Pickup question

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by .-.LeX.-., Jul 17, 2002.

  1. any of you guys own this bass? the one with natural ash body comes with standard white pickgaurd... etc .etc

well, i just ordered one, and i was wondering i could take the pickgaurd off and have it like that( they look alot better w/o pickgaurd with natural body IMO, can i take the pick gaurd off, or is there like the holes under for wires and stuff like my Squier P-Bass??????

thanks guys ( and if you guys have any pictures of natural ash bodys with no pickgaurd, could you please post? )

I'm betting theres a hole underneath that pickguard.
  3. you sureee???

    anybody know for sure?
  4. actually, there is no cavity under there, just the route for the pup itself. go for the no pickguard look, its a beaut.
  5. you happen to have a picture of it???

and BTW... i live in NJ, and ROndoMusic's in NJ, i just ordered my bass today, any idea how long it will take? UPS GROUND
  6. no, i dont happen to have any pics. but trust me, it'll look fine, at least it does on mine.
